Qualifications
A graduate from the University of Ghana’s School of Business with a degree in Business
Administration (Accounting Major), Alfred is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He is also a
Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering
Specialist (CAMS).
Professional Experience
Alfred worked for 3 years as a Tax Commissioner Agent with the Ohio Department of Taxation.
He moved on to the Huntington National Bank where he spent 21 years working as a Financial
Analyst, Internal Auditor and Accounting & Finance Team Manager for Huntington Merchant
Services.
In addition to working for the Huntington, Alfred worked as a Consultant on contract basis for
JP Morgan Chase and Nationwide Insurance. He is currently a Financial Consultant with Global
Financial Concepts, specializing in Tax Consulting, non-profit Audits and Accounting for small to
mid-size companies. He is also a Notary Public.
Non-for-Profit Experience
Alfred was briefly involved with Communities in Schools (CIS) a non-profit organization in
Columbus Ohio as a volunteer. He was elected as Vice-President of the Ghana Council of
Columbus in the early stages of the formation of the Association.
As a devout Christian, Alfred held several positions in his church including being elected the
Board Chairman of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Columbus Ohio (2015 through 2017).
He was also Chairman of the Assinman Association of Ohio for several years and was
subsequently elected a Patron of the Association. In addition, he is the Chairman of the
Nyankumasi Progress Group – a non-profit group that offer assistance to the needy in the Assin
area of Ghana.
Alfred is currently serving on the board of Inprem Community Resource Center where he serves
as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the board.
