Welcome to “INPREM SPEAKS”!

Inprem Speaks is A WEEKLY NEWSLETTER DESIGNED TO ENGAGE OUR CLIENTS, VOLUNTEERS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE IN A CONVERSATION REGARDING food insecurity, The challenges faced by food-insecure families living in Central Ohio, and what Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center Food Pantry is doing about it. Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center endeavors to engage readers with information regarding our daily operations and upcoming events as well as to generate a dialogue with the community regarding solutions to these and other issues facing families today. Before we get too far, let me share some of our history. Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center was established in 2014, as an outreach ministry of In His Presence Ministries International, Inprem Food Pantry was conceived from the church’s vision to feed the poor, and to give hope to the hopeless.

Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center has served the Central Ohio region and surrounding suburbs as a ‘one-stop shop’ for several years. In the first year Inprem operated as a monthly produce market and served 270 households, comprising of 87 seniors, 563 adults, and 436 children. In April of 2015 Inprem was officially recognized as a Mid-Ohio Food bank pantry partner and was able to expand services and operational hours. These expanded services included an after-school program, free diabetes and hypertension screenings, free access to technology through an on-site computer lab, free clothing and furniture, as well as referrals to other agencies when necessary.

Since these humble beginnings Inprem has served 163661 households, comprising of 65378 seniors, 341195 adults and 235816 children.

Alex-Eric Kofi Abrokwa-Clottey is an ordained international minister and founder of IN HIS PRESENCE MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL, COLUMBUS, OHIO. A graduate of AIAM and the University of Notre Dame, Medoza College of Business.Apostle Abrokwa-Clottey, a West-African immigrant, has been blazing a trail of hope to people around the world.

Apostle Alex-Eric K. Abrokwa-Clottey, an avid learner and leader in the City of Columbus, is a 2020 graduate of the City of Columbus Department of Neighborhood New American Leadership Academy (2020 cohort)

An astute businessman, Apostle Alex, has owned and operated several businesses locally and internationally.

Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center began as an extension of the church’s vision to feed the poor and to give hope to the hopeless. Initially Inprem began offering free weekly health screenings and monthly produce markets, until its official launch on April 15, 2015. By November of 2016, Inprem was registered as a non-profit entity with the internal revenue service and became an emerging social-services leader in the central Ohio area.

INPREM HOLISTIC COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER,expanded to become a multi-service resource center providing, Free Food, Free Clothing, an After-School Program , Job Readiness, and Free Health Screenings.

In 2017 Apostle Alex-Eric K. Abrokwa-Clottey partnered with leaders from several African countries to offer community development and revitalization programs to underdeveloped communities.

The “Love Train Network”, spearheaded by Apostle Alex-Eric K. Abrokwa-Clottey, in the same year; provided privately donated emergency food, clothing, and educational materials to the local school children in Ghana, West Africa.

In Kenya, Apostle Alex-Eric K. Abrokwa-Clottey created a woman’s empowerment program that encouraged entrepreneurship and job creation in the Cape Coast. The Womens Empowerment Program, provided 50 women with the resources, training and assistance to establish sustainable farm to market enterprises to increase self-sufficiency and decrease poverty in the region. .

In another international effort, Apostle Alex-Eric K. Abrokwa-Clottey spearheaded a project in the Eastern
Region of Ghana, West Africa. This project was developed to provide safe, and reliable drinking water to residents in the region.

Apostle Abrokwa-Clottey, in partnership with the local municipality, sponsored and built a four classroom building facility for the community of Obotwere in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

To galvanize support from the local and international community, Apostle Alex-Eric K. Abrokwa-Clottey established Inprem Africa as an NGO in Ghana, West Africa in 2019

For his efforts, Apostle Abrokwa-Clottey and the Inprem staff received several awards and accommodations from local community leaders. In 2019, Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center was awarded the Heroism Award from the Global Foundations organization. In the same year, Senator Sherrod Brown recognized Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center for community advocacy and issued a proclamation of support

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Apostle Abrokwa-Clottey led the effort to decrease food insecurity in the Central Ohio area and surrounding suburbs by partnering with several local organizations and distributors to provide mobile food delivery and emergency USDA food boxes to local community leaders and organizations.

 

Apostle Alex-Eric K. Abrokwa-Clottey lives in the Central Ohio area with his wife Evelyn Sowah-Clottey and their 3 lovely children.

INPREM HOLISTIC COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER HOSTS VOLUNTEERS FROM THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS. OUR DEDICATED STAFF AND COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS DONATE OVER 4000 HOURS PER MONTH TO ENSURE THAT INPREM HOLISTIC COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER IS ABLE TO PROVIDE THE VERY BEST SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY ON A CONSISTENT BASIS.

 

Inprem Africa

 

In August of 2016 Inprem holistic community resource center expanded the scope of services to include the nations of Ghana, West Africa, and the nation of Kenya. Inprem holistic community resource center Africa was officially organized as a non governmental organization (NGO) in 2019 and quickly began to work toward its established mission.

Our vision is to empower and inspire individuals and families incorporating the concept of holism within the community, our mission is to continue to strengthen the strong collaboration with grassroots stake holders organizations, to provide the necessary community resources.

Creating a life that can be sustained through the activation of natural resources empowered through education, health care, job creation and community revitalization: one life, then family, then community
